We stumbled upon Asilah...literally as we approached Tangier on the train. We jumped on Booking.com and found Puerto Marina and the following day met with Yassine who gave us keys to our apartment. We loved Asilah so much we extended our stay moving to a different apartment within the same building. Clean, super comfortable and we plan to return. The photos of the apartment don't do it justice! Great town. Yasine was super accommodating and nothing was an effort for him. We highly recommend this place! Oh....and the bonus was a wine shop round the corner, fresh bread at the market and Netflix! Perfect for us back packers needing some rejuvenation! We stayed 6 unplanned nights!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING!!! We came for our honeymoon, and what a perfect place for us!!! It was simply magical!! We stayed in the King Suite, and it was absolutely incredible!! The coolest room we have ever stayed in by far. The staff was out of this world!! They were so sweet and friendly. They connected us with a taxi driver who in turn connected us with a guide for our time in the Asilah Medina. All around perfection. The home cooked meals could not have been any better. We absolutely loved the beef tagine!!! Sitting around the property in one of its many charming and comfy spots sipping Moroccan wine was just what we needed after some hectic travels. The dogs on the property were super nice and we loved relaxing on the patios with them! The sounds of the farm animals was music to our ears!! WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!!❤️❤️

Staff were amazing, warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us. My partner left his suit bag at the hotel and they very kindly shipped it to the UK for us as we had already travelled. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and lovely design. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location too, right next to the sea.

Everything was just perfect! Our host Hicham was genuinely friendly and attentive. He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.

Everything was perfect, the apartment has all you need and Hicham is such a nice person. He droves us all the way to Tanger Med because there weren't good connections. Thank you for your kindness!!!
