It was away from the buzz and noise and quite near the beach. Our host was exceptionally attentive and professional in all his handling. My husband and I also liked the flooring of the bathroom! The bed has a net all around to keep the flies/mosquitos away, which is great!

We were happily surprised about the room, it had the most fantastic view of the beach and sunset. The room was so spacious and clean. We felt very at home and the staff was the loveliest people. They kindly helped us with booking transfers for our next destination and a late check-out. Loved the location, room and service. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property with new amenities, incredibly comfortable and clean. Sandunmal the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, arranging cars for transport, giving us recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. All the staff were very helpful and the food was delicious (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner)! The property itself is on the edge of a beautiful lake which made for amazing sunset kayaking that was a great experience for the whole family. I cannot recommend this property any more, absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back.

Very friendly host who is always ready to help. The place is quiet. To the ocean 7 minutes, to market (Cargill's) about 12 minutes, bus stop and ATMs 3 minutes walk, restaurants and cafes from 5 minutes. There is parking. Very tasty and hearty breakfasts. The room is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and fan work great. The room has a small refrigerator, a table, 3 chairs, 5 sockets. The table is perfect for work. The shared kitchen is always clean and very well equipped, with 2 burners. There is a generator, during the outage there was light.

I wouldn't even know where to start. You honestly shouldn't even bother reading the reviews of this establishment because you risk other people booking it and taking your spot. Dinuka is a hospitality superstar. Three Gables is, without a doubt, the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka. We weren't on a budget during our entire trip, but this exceeded every other place by a mile. It's private. It's clean. The staff is amazingly friendly. The food is fresh and so good. You can ask everybody anything, nothing is ever too much. Everything is done with a smile. The people who work here love their job and their country and it shows every minute of every day. We would go back to Sri Lanka again just to stay here for longer than we did. It's fantastic by any standard and we'd recommend everyone to go.
