Comfortable guesthouse with spacious and renovated family rooms, great for an extended stay. It is 5min away from Cinnamon Bey beach. The staff extremely nice and helpful. The owner attends to his guests himself to make sure that our stay is great and exceeds expectations. They organized a cute setup for our friend whose birthday happened to be during our stay, they allowed us to check out later free of charge, and even arranged for a homemade lunch at the guesthouse itself, on the pergola, which was great. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anura’s Elephant during my holiday in Sri Lanka, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, situated walking distance to the beach but with easy access to excellent transport links. The service at Anura’s Elephant was truly exceptional. The staff members were attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. I was particularly impressed by the concierge team, who went above and beyond to provide personalised recommendations for local restaurants and arrange transportation for my outings. My room was a haven of comfort and style. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, and the furnishings were elegant and tasteful. The attention to detail was evident, with a well stocked en-suite, beautiful views from the room and high-speed Wi-Fi. The room was impeccably clean, and housekeeping maintained this standard throughout my stay. The dining experience at Anuras Elephant was a highlight. The breakfast a la cart menu offered an extensive variety of delicious options ranging from English breakfast to traditional breakfast, catering to different dietary preferences. The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The pool was an added bonus providing a serene space to unwind after a long day of travelling. In terms of value for money, Anuras Elephant was worth every penny. Considering the exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and location, I believe the price was more than justified. This property is exceptional, but better than the property are the host and his wife. It is a 7 min walk to a beautiful clean beach. 3 - 5 mins by tuk tuk to the city centre and various ayurveda centres, money exchange, pier88 (fantastic restaurant on the river). A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. Great stay at Anveela. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our needs including helping with recommendations, tuk tuks and overall information. The breakfast was great and very filling which resulted in not needing to eat lunch on a few of the days. If you enjoy Sri Lankan food then you'll love the breakfast. There is of course bread, spreads and omelette if wanted. Rooms were spacious and we had an air-conditioned room which was nice when it was hot although the rooms stayed relatively cool. The pool is very nice for a swim at any time of the day. The whole property is extremely clean which including pool area and breakfast which was free from sand and dirt. I do recommend and thanks to the staff for a great stay.

This place is just too good for stay. The unit comes with 2 bedrooms with a double bed in one and two single beds in the other. The bathroom is big and there are 2 balconies with sit out chairs and tables.It is neat and clean and the host is very supportive and helped us with food and other stuffs that we needed. The beach is nearby and at a walkable distance. We saw a lot of amazingly beautiful birds on the trees in the property. Very nice place for stay for the Bentota area.
