I spend in Ahungalla one month. This was my solo travel. Owner - Vinoj help me any time. I really liked his wife and children. I felt like part of the family.
Breakfast was really good. The facility was clean. Garden is really amazing and very comfortable. Wifi connection was good - I had to work remotely also and I didn’t have any problem.

I highly recommend everyone stay here! This has been the best accomodation I've booked through this platform. We received exceptional service that went above and beyond what was expected making us feel very welcomed. We were lucky enough to get given a tour of the local neighbourhood and beaches to visit on our stay, as well as complimentary yoga one evening which my partner and I loved. The food was great and the room very clean. Again, I highly recommend you stay here if visiting the town.

The property was a short walk from a nearby beachfront hotel where you could use their pool for a charge and other beachfront bar with natural sea pool.
Amazing trip from start to finish. The beach hut was wonderful, the staff were fantastic and very friendly and the food was gorgeous. The bar was right on the beach so you could sip your drink while watching the sea.
Friendly staff and secluded beach, perfect for a few days at the seaside away from big crowds. Shops are still nearby. Good food and nice cocktails available. Would definitely recommend!
The most amazing location right on the beach front. We loved staying so close to nature. The host Barbara was amazing and no request was too much trouble. She arranged a special dinner for us on the beach to celebrate our engagement. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. If we’re ever in Sri Lanka again we’ll be coming back for sure!
The welcome greeting, the uniqueness of the place with the pathways and areas to walk on that were built around the rocks where you can watch the waves crashing in and almost splash you (this was fun for the kids!). The room was spacious and clean. Good shower. Access to beach (it was practically on the beach). The restaurant food was very good (especially the Sri Lankan breakfast, which was also much cheaper and better value than the western breakfast). The pool was great, overlooking the ocean and having a childrens section was a bonus too.

I wouldn't call it luxury but it's a great, comfortable place for a couple and families with older kids, right on the beach and with a nice, large pool. It's only two villas so you'd often end up the only people there.
The food they prepared in the small kitchen was really really nice.
