Location, very close to restaurants and the city. Very walkable. Room was big with a balcony and fridge. I did extend by one day as I was scuba diving and couldn't change Hotels due to the time but would have done so due to the issues. What spoilt this stay was lack of hot water and having to waste my time chasing staff. It takes more than an hour for the boiler to work. Breakfast is similar everyday with the odd hash brown/wedges change. Pool closes at 7pm, one of the earliest pool closure in the world. Limited shade at the rooftop pool too. Choose this hotel for the pool itself.

Extra Traveller, hotel in Aqaba

Extra Traveller in Aqaba provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The most welcoming hostel I have stayed at. Anas truly cares about his guests, not only making them feel immediately welcome but ensuring they have the best time throughout their entire trip to Jordan. I was treated to a lovely breakfast as well as a terrific dinner served in the hostel as well as a free walking tour of the city with Anas. The hostel provides good prices for day tours and overnight stays both in Aqaba and the rest of Jordan including Petra and Wadi Rum. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I truly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Aqaba and would definetely stay here again. Thanks for the stay.

It’s right on the beach with all types of shops all around it (food, drinks, souvenirs, pharmacy, shopping..). The staff were nice and very helpful. We had a problem with parking the first day but after that they were able to help us. They were very kind as to let us have a late check out when we asked for it. The rooms were clean.

The hotel staff was very kind. If the you want to have a swim and a nice time on the beach I definitely recommend the paid trip to a private beach they are offering. It was worth the money due to the state of public beaches in Jordan.

Very sleek and stylish contemporary design. The rooms, adorned in pristine white, exuded a refreshing feel with abundance of natural daylight streaming in. It truly felt like a breath of fresh air. Probably the best beachfront at Ayla with stunning views, not to forget the infinity pool. F&B, service, cleanliness, comfort, and friendly helpful stuff who are attentive to details, are all top notch!

the property is surrounded by the Red Sea… you can take a three minute stroll and you’re right on the beachfront. there are a couple cafes, restaurants, and a mini shopping center on the property. the shopping center was closed when we were there, but it’s nice to have every thing in the same property.
