I must admit I booked this hotel by mistake not realising it was a full on Ayurveda experience. It turned out to be the best mistake I ever made.. Absolutely superb!
First and foremost what made my stay so good was the staff . Each and everyone was so warm, friendly and genuine. They could not do enough to make me feel at home . My special thanks must go to the front desk staff, Ancy, Viji, Sathish and Irfhan. Spent many an hour chatting and laughing with them as though I was one of their family. They are a credit to your company.
As I said initially I did not book the Rockholm for treatments and yoga but I am now addicted . I have never felt more relaxed and healthy after my stay. Will definately be trying them again.
Wonderful and varied meals. I am not a vegiterranean but the food was so tasty I did not miss meat at all. Compliments to the chef espicially for fish polichathu I had as a treat on my last night. Best fish dish I have ever tasted.
As well as all this the hotel is spotlessly clean with the most magnificent views of the ocean

I like the building it really is s room in a bungalow/villa that you rent.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
One of the best places I have stayed at. The people were warm and friendly. The room and bathroom was spotless, it also included a refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious as were the other meals I had there along with the fresh lime juice. All this for very very reasonable prices which you don't expect near the ocean. I would recommend you stay here. They also run a surf shop at the beach, I tried it out here and enjoyed it.
Location. Car could drop us off at the hotel; walk to the beach was fantastic as hotel is right on the beach. Our room overlooking the beach was comfortable and well equipped right down to the sleepers provided. Breakfast was standard fare with good European/Indian choices overlooking the beach. Towels provided for beach/swim use. Staff very hard working to keep the place clean. Very helpful staff. In the quiet part of the beach

A lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Beautiful garden, pool, spa facility and adjacent private beach. An ayurveda facility with excellent massage and health facilities and practitioners.
3 minutes walk into the Beautiful seaside town of Kovalam and its array of restaurants, local shops and bars.
This is my second visit to Rockholm it has got better with a swimming pool now, great rooms with beautiful beach view, property is right on the beach, awesome views from room, restaurant. The food was yummy and tasty, so many options in buffet and even al a carte options. Restaurant staffs, staffs at reception, room service all have done an excellent job. Special mention to Viji as usual she is smiling and caring, gave us late check out as our train was late in the evening, it really helped us.
