It’s a very peaceful and quiet place, on the edge of the jungle and lagoon you can swim in (just for a dive to cool off). The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. I rented a scooter during my stay, it’s about a 15 minutes drive to Pangandaran. Can highly recommend the day tour to green valley and green canyon with a guide (you’ll do things you’d never do alone like jumping of cliffs and waterfalls)

Overall the experience was good. The lady that is the main housekeeper was very nice to us. The common kitchen is very clean and everyone is very mindful of their own dishes.

The views from JavaCove of the bay at Batukaras were beautiful and it was great to be able to walk out of the hotel and jump right into the sea. All the staff were friendly and helpful for booking transport and anything we needed. A great place for a beach getaway in West Java!

The accommodation is very cost. It truly feels like a home stay. All the staff members are very nice, some of them even speak good Dutch. The beach is very close. The staff members can take you on various tours or surfing lessons in the area. I would definitely return!
Perfect place if you are looking for a cosy place to stay. On the beach and in the spacious beautifully decorated homestay, I found the relaxing time I needed after a couple of days in busy Jakarta. Also really loved the adventorious activities they planned to the Green Valley and National Park. The staff is very helpful and because they made me feel very welcome, I kept extending my stay. Would highly recommend!

A really chilled out vibe here with lots of little cubby holes and places in the comunal areas to relax and have your own space or mix with others. The staff are very helpful and always have a guy called Del who comes and plays guitar very well in the evening. He is also a surf coach and guide and can take you to the Green Canyon and Green Valley. Great pancakes for breakfast! The beach is 200 metres away.

Batukaras and lagoona beach is a very relaxing place. Perfect if you want to surf, for visiting the green Canyon or just want to rent a scooter and drive around.
The homestay is very cozy, not only the rooms. The stuff is very helpful in planing the activities and how to get from and to the property. The tour with the guides in the green valley and green canyon was cultural and adventurous. They also provide surf lessons (I think all levels, was my first time on the board). The beach is nice and quiet during the day. In general the town is very quiet and good to relax. The breakfast is included and good (banana pancake with fruits or fried rice). Free water, coffee and tee. Social place.
