Our stay at Black Pearl was great. The villa is amazing and huge, even bigger than I thought. This was our 3rd time in Bali and all we wanted for this time was a balinese style villa by the beach a bit more far from the busy areas so we can relax and also explore east Bali. It was exactly the dream place we were looking for. I cannot think about anything that could have been better. Very big rooms decorated in balinese style, open living room, very exotic garden and surrounding arreas with palm trees and lush vegetation, big swimming pool, kitchen equiped with everything you would need, possibility to order food at villa.
You cannot swim in the sea in front of villa due to very strong stream but the beach is great for long walks or sunbathing. Bias Tugel beach is 15 min walk where you can swim in the sea.
Perfect for working remote with plenty of spaces dedicated for work.
The staff Kadek and Bayu were very friendly and always happy to help with anything. Easy to communicate with them and they always responded our text messages within minutes. The place was kept clean and tidy. We are highly considering coming back next year.

This was a great experience and ensured our arrival in chaotic Bali went very smoothly. The son of the owner, Brian, waited patiently for us at the airport to take us to Padangbai. We stayed here to get the boat to Gili the next morning. Nothing was too much trouble. The family are lovely, welcoming us into their traditional Bali home and doing everything possible to make our stay comfortable. A restful sleep in the huge, comfortable bed. A plentiful breakfast, including delicious piping hot fresh pancakes, set us up for the day. The owner personally helped us with our luggage, checking which boat company we were on, and walking us straight to the correct kiosk at the port. This ensured our transition was smooth and stress free and really was above and beyond.
I had arranged each part of our trip myself rather than using an agent, so I was a little nervous that everything happened as planned.. Brian and his family couldn't possibly have been more helpful and made our first encounter with Bali memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you to them.

Amazing views, tranquil environment, beautiful villa and amazing service. We are so grateful for the kind and attentive staff who took care for us during our stay. What the pictures cannot tell is the wonderful sounsdcape, calming sound of the ocean waves, tropical breeze though the trees and the sound of birds. The villa is a short walk from the white beach.
The breakfast was good. The location is great. You may want to ask for an upstairs beachfront room. The restaurant has a good menu with reasonable prices.
Perfect location just 10 min walking from the ferry terminal. Clean room with wifi, a private patio and complimentary water bottles and beach towels. Restaurant open all day. Very convenient prices.
We got the beachfront room. It was very comfortable with a large king sized bed and a balcony with an amazing view overlooking the ocean. It was lovely to sit there in the evenings and watch the locals gathering and enjoying the beach and the fishing boats coming and going. The breakfast included was nice and the pool was a relaxing place to cool down. Hosts were also very friendly.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was okay but overpriced in my opinion, I'd recommend Mimba's Food Corner 15 minutes away for nicer, cheaper meals. Location was amazing, my room was 1st floor and had a big foundation with sofas & a hammock on overlooking the beach and all the scuba/snorkeling boats. On the beachfront there are loads of restaurants which are fairly cheap compared to other places in Bali.
You can hear the ocean in the night, so beautiful! It‘s 5min away from the white sand beach, which is the best beach in this area. The staff is very friendly, especially Dewah :) thank you!
Fantastic hotel. Stayed only one night on our way to Gili Air. I wish we'd been here longer! Lovely room, gorgeous pool, and the breakfast was good too. Clearly a favourite hotel for people doing scuba, lots of facilities for this, and right on the beach. Would highly recommend!
