I stayed at Bunaken 18 Dive Resort and Cafe from 16 to 21 September, and it was an incredible experience! Oscar, the owner, provided fantastic service, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The location of the resort is perfect, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The rooms are clean, new, and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to stay after a day of diving. After spending already two weeks in indonesia we had our best time at Heiner Homestay with Ope, Olga and their lovely kids. They not only served us delicious food, they also helped us with guidance and information about activities. Snorcheling and dolphin tour with Ope was an incredible experience. There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. So are all common areas so you can take a break from Manado heat at NDC. The pool do the job, you can actually do some swimming workout here. Location is close to Manado, so if you are looking for remote naturę close resort and a white beach choose something else. BUT there is really nice garden and a jetty overloocking the sea, wirh great sunset views. To sum up, 8-9, for the special price we had at booking.com.
Two lovely adjacent bungalows in front of the beach in the village with a shared porch with a dining table and relax chairs. The host Mamalis made amazing varied food, some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia. Papa Sem has a boat for snorkeling and dolphin tours. The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.
As a solo traveller, the attitude of the staff means more than anything.

Close to the beach, possible to book a trip with Frangky for snorkeling on his own boat, helped us going back. Room was clean and there was the option to eat there as well (vegetarian option available).

Great holiday destination! Best staff ever- we were spoilt from beginning to end. Food is great too! Lots of choices and top quality. Our house was fantastic- stylish yet traditional and sustainable. All facilities you need and the staff will always go an extra mile to help you. This stunning location is right in the Kima Bajo village and right on the beach, facing the stunning Bunaken National Park. Highly recommended.
The place just opened in June. So everything is still quite new. Clean place. Stayed there the night before going to bunaken. Nearby are the malls, so lots of restaurants inside, cinema and the possibility for shopping. Ocean is close by and you can watch an incredible sunset. On every floor was a water cooker, in the room you had the sachet.
