Great small property with everything you need to relax. It is a bit of a distant place, but it is right next to the great beach. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to the large ocean waves, however, it is an excellent location for strolling and you will only encounter locals there. It was a great place to get back to relax when we used it as our base camp to get around Bali. We had a car, but you can rent a bike or take a taxi as well to get around. The staff was excellent and helpful in every situation. BTW, someone might say that the ocean is sometimes a bit loud, which is true and something you should expect if you want to sleep next to the ocean. We have liked that experience. :-)

Our stay at Black Pearl was great. The villa is amazing and huge, even bigger than I thought. This was our 3rd time in Bali and all we wanted for this time was a balinese style villa by the beach a bit more far from the busy areas so we can relax and also explore east Bali. It was exactly the dream place we were looking for. I cannot think about anything that could have been better. Very big rooms decorated in balinese style, open living room, very exotic garden and surrounding arreas with palm trees and lush vegetation, big swimming pool, kitchen equiped with everything you would need, possibility to order food at villa.
You cannot swim in the sea in front of villa due to very strong stream but the beach is great for long walks or sunbathing. Bias Tugel beach is 15 min walk where you can swim in the sea.
Perfect for working remote with plenty of spaces dedicated for work.
The staff Kadek and Bayu were very friendly and always happy to help with anything. Easy to communicate with them and they always responded our text messages within minutes. The place was kept clean and tidy. We are highly considering coming back next year.

Secret Spot Villas are located right on a quiet beach. The only noise you can hear at night is the relaxing sound of waves crashing on the sands. The beach is popular for surfing, which was great to spectate. The staff were all great and Gede, the manager, was very helpful letting me use his mobile to call Virgin Australia as one of our cases had gone missing. We wanted a few days peace and quiet on our journey home and this property delivered big time!
Beautiful location right on an empty, black sand beach, excellent room that looks out right on the beach. Peaceful, lovely spot to spend the night - highly recommend!
We love the view, an the staff as well. The room was tidy, the food was fresh all the time. The place is calm, if you want to relax and enjoy the seaside you won't be dissapointed. They can organise any trip what you want for reasonable price. Absolute famous choice. We spent a wonderful time here.
If you want to be off the beaten track you are exactly right here! This spot is really of the map which is great. The black sand beach is really close and you can hear the waves. If you get through the waves swimming and surfing is possible directly in front of the Villa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is a nice add on! Food is freshly cooked for order and a driver to wherever you want to go can be booked. It is also close enough to the Airport or Padang Bai if you consider using that next.
I loved the privacy of the apartment, its uninterrupted view to the beach and sea.

In my apartment i enjoyed the outside private bathtub/sunbathing area.
The pool and communal dining area.
Also the outside canopied bed next to the pool great to view the sunset.
The chef was really careful and the food lovely.
We loved everything about this place! The staff was super kind and attentive, the pool is amazing, the location right on the beach! We can only recommend the secret spot villas and will definitely be back next time!
