Galeana Beach Hotel is very basic, but great as a cheap base. The rooms are very clean as is the pool and dining area. The buffet breakfast is really good too. The maids clean the rooms regularly. There are loads of good places to eat close by.

Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. The restaurant is on the beach, and it was a very relaxing place to have breakfast and lunch. The pool and the adjacent grassed garden are a lovely space to spend time in. The bedroom was nicely decorated, clean and quiet.
We've just come back from one week holiday in Mary Hotel. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, modern, we had a small kitchenette with everything you need it. There are 2 swimming pools and a bar. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Perfect location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was a pleasure to stay there, we felt like at home.
If I come back to Crete I will stay there again. Highly recommended 👌

Location was great, right on the beach and 15 minute drive to Rethymno old town. Amazing outdoor area! the staff were so lovely and very welcoming. The room was very spacious and had an excellent view! would definitely stay here again.
Rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable. Pool is very big and it is right on the beach. Breakfast is very nice and the lady who cooks breakfast is very friendly. Location is good with lots of tavernas and places to eat just outside the apartments. Also it is 15mins by car to Rethymno.
