Although not the most popular town I found it very conveniently and centrally located
The village had all one needed, beaches, trails, one wonderful seaside taverna, a nice general store selling pies and a cafe on the beach
The owners were delightful and charming
and it would easy to come across and sit with them at the taverna. A family member, Panos, rents cars making this almost a full package deal!

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. The size was perfect for two nights air con in both bedrooms to keep cool, bathroom was very good water cool for cooling and rinsing face. The kitchen is small but cute, looks out to grapes and a nice view, it was also very convenient. Location great with lots of beaches around.
It was easy to access from the port and the beach there is the best on the island. The apartment was very clean and had beautiful views across the sea.
Marietta was always helpful and was there on our arrival to let us in and explain everything . We did not want to leave
Emmanouils place was just what we needed! The property is a short drive from the town of Kapsali and Kythira and one of the best beaches we went to on this trip - Chalkos. The property was wonderfully quiet and very spacious. Large room and balcony gave us plenty of room to rest and recharge. The owners are friendly and welcoming.
Comfortable nice and isolated villa near the best beach in Kythira. There is everything you need for a long stay.. The view from the terrace is marvellers. The communication with the host was very good.
