The location was near the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. It was quiet away from crowds. The balcony was excellent. The bathroom was fantastic and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Near Iraklion which was a great day trip.

Our stay was exceptional. I never had such an excellent experience anywhere else before. The hosts were so so friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome. They even gave my little boy presents :) The place is really nice and very close to the beach; the breakfast is homemade and amazing, with such huge portions, and everything is delicious. There is a bus to the city center just a 2 min walk.

It was our first trip to Crete and we wanted to find a representative place. Luck or inspiration was to choose Ikaros Suite, a small hotel managed by a very nice family. A modern, spacious hotel with new furniture, with all the facilities you need in a summer vacation: swimming pool, bar, restaurant with local specialties, relaxing atmosphere, good wi-fi free parking and a friendly staff ready to fulfill your wishes , speaking German and English. The restaurant is excellent, with local, authentic dishes - with natural ingredients from the family farm. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. We arrived very early in the morning, around 8 - but we were accommodated quite quickly, we didn't have to wait until after dinner. More than that - Katarina, the iron hand of the hotel :) - offered us a free breakfast from the house. When leaving, because we had a very early morning flight, we each received a package of food so that we wouldn't go hungry on the road. Thank you, Katarina. Thanks also to Yoorgos, he has a special reserve of excellent Cretan raki. My father-in-law was very happy for him. A place where you want to come back as soon as possible.

Great location. Super friendly, warm, and helpful owners. We got a warm welcome from the family. So nice and sweet of them. Gave us freshly harvested melon from the farm on our entire stay. The owners of the property were so welcoming and hospitable from start to finish. The place was very clean and our room was very comfortable. At this time of the year it was great to have air-con in the room also to feel fresh and have a great night’s sleep without feeling hot and restless. The location is a stone’s throw away from the beach (a two minute walk) where you have several choices to relax and unwind at the beach with restaurants, sun loungers etc. All in all the place was fantastic. Wonderful people and hospitality, great location and proximity to the beach at very reasonable and affordable prices for our stay there. My husband and I would definitely go back for future holidays!
