Oyster Etchingham SEAVIEW, hotel in Whitstable

Situated in Whitstable, the recently renovated Oyster Etchingham SEAVIEW features accommodation 2.2 km from Herne Bay Beach and 9.1 km from University of Kent.

The owner was so accommodating and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Accommodation was very spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you would want for a short stay. The weather wasn’t great for us but the location was spot on so we could get out and about.

Very friendly staff can get an excellent breakfast and can look at the sea while it is cooked behind you and once you have finished. It could not get closer to being on the beach and a 5 minute amble to the harbour. The building itself has plenty of character and has a proper seaside feel about it.

Right on the beach! Spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful. Close to independent shops and cafes and restaurants. Completely unspoilt seaside town. Water and juice in the fridge plus biscuits and tea / coffee. Chairs on the balcony comfy and also elderly mum could get up from them. Clean simple pleasing decor. Such a brilliant design. Good shower.
