We've stayed here before, when it was being renovated, and it had scaffold and netting, so the view was impeded. This time, we had a great view of the seafront. Room very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
We have been to Woodgrange previously and somewhat think of it as home from home. It is situated near enough to all local amenities; however far enough away from busy seaside areas. With just a 3-5min drive to seafront arcades etc. Local take away Resturants, grocery shops and supermarket, post office are available with a short walk.
Fantastic location, right on the beach. The area around the hotel is very nice, several cafes / restaurants for breakfast and dinner, off license shop about 7 min walk. There is also a very nice park with large playground nearby. The beach is not overcrowded (like other areas in Southend), very enjoyable. Our room was on the ground floor but we still could see the sea :) the room has nice furniture, fridge, bathroom has toiletries, everything looks new. Staff very nice and helpful.
Lovely air conditioned room . Great location on the seafront. Great cooked to order breakfast making breakfast so much better than in chains. Friendly staff who really make you feel like a valued guest. Unlike many seaside traditional hotels, Roslin Beach has clearly benefitted from ongoing investment.
Loved the pebbles guest house, it was clean and welcoming and right on the beach. The land lady, Laura was professional, friendly and very helpful. The lovely little terrace upstairs was a bonus.
Amazing guest house. They’ve thought of everything! Clean, well decorated, good breakfast, lovely outside areas, on the beachfront, walking distance to town, great hosts. What’s not to love!
The owners were very attentive, breakfast was lovely and the rooms really comfortable. I would definitely stay again in future (in fact I have already booked!)
