    We booked last minute for a seaside getaway a as a family for one nights. The host was friendly and informative. The Cottage is private and cosy , fabulous, thoughtful decor, and everything you could need. Tea,coffee,milk & sugar provided also ! We visited Staithes, where we had dinner, and just got back in time to catch the beautiful sunset at the paddock with the dog . Would recommend and would definitely return !

    Firstly communication with the host was a breeze. She was attentive and responsive. The apartment decor was lovely, the location was great. The double bed was comfy and so was the (easy to use sofa bed). The whole apartment had a luxury feel and the shower, especially, was very pleasant. The apartment's design, proximity to the beach, and convenient amenities (Sainsbury's and a host of cafe's literally round the corner) made for a memorable family seaside getaway. Adults, kids and dog all had a great time. I highly recommend it.

    Absolutely everything! We stayed 6 nights. A warm welcome, very friendly staff, good food, immaculately clean rooms which were refreshed daily, ideally located for travelling to different coastal seaside villages and inland villages. Fab 3 mile circulate walk directly opposite the Inn around Scaling dam reservoir where you can fish, swim, paddle board, canoe etc the dam attracts many different birds too. We will definitely be booking at Jack and Jill’s Inn again when visiting the east coast.

    Saltburn is a great place to visit, compact but lots to see and do and a range of nice restaurants to eat (we enjoyed a Thai and fish and chips). The cottage is in a quiet location but close to the seafront. The kitchen is really well designed and kitted out, the house is cosy, clean, and tastefully decorated. The location is convenient for anyone wanting to walk the Cleveland Way (you can use the whirlpool bath afterward!), wander on the beach, potter in the town, or go surfing. .
