The location is absolutely stunning with a view from the living room to die for. Beds were comfortable which isn’t usual in our experience. The property was very clean and had all you would expect in your own home. Would recommend this property highly. We hope to be back again.

Beautiful hotel, Perfect location, right on the beachfront and at the top of newcastle town so everything was walking distance. The staff were the nicest staff I have came across in a hotel, they couldn’t do enough. We were given some cupcakes on arrival for my partners birthday which my 6 year old was delighted with. The bed was most comfortable and the rooms were spotless. My son cried when we had to leave so I Will definitely be returning.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside & out. A lot of attention to detail. The location is fab, right on the beach front & close to all shops etc. The staff were more than lovely to us, that’s one thing that really stood out to us and made us feel very welcomed.
It was my mums birthday and the staff had written her a note which was a lovely touch and very thoughtful.
Fabulous location right on the beach. An immaculate, tasteful & spotlessly clean B&B. We had a lovely welcome from Maria who showed us to our room, took our breakfast order for the first morning and showed us a small fridge in the hallway where complimentary bottles of water were kept along with extra milk for the tea tray. The breakfast was freshly prepared & delicious.
An excellent find, in a lovely seaside town and a perfect base for walking in the Mournes, will definitely return.
Situation was excellent with great views of beach and seaside and also near shops and facilities in town. Breakfast was excellent and evening meal was also very good. Staff were most helpful and friendly.
We were in the area for what was supposed to be a hiking weekend but due to the heat turned into a chill on the beach and potter about Newcastle kind of weekend! And Conlyn House provided the perfect base. The room had a sea view (I'd recommended booking this option to hear the waves at night), right on the sea front for easy beach access, tasty breakfast with lots of options and very helpful staff. We will be back!!
