The Clyffe Hotel, hotel in Lowestoft

Featuring a bar and views of sea, The Clyffe Hotel is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Lowestoft, 200 metres from Claremont Pier Beach.

I had porridge for breakfast but would have liked the offer of some toast as well My sister had the full English but there was no black pudding or hash browns included. We still really enjoyed what we had but some people might expect those items in their order.

Right on the beach and our room had a wonderful sea view. The staff were absolutely amazing. Shout out to Adam who helped me with my luggage when my son fell over outside. The waitress at breakfast was also superb, incredibly helpful. I will definitely be coming here again. Thank you!

We loved everything, cottage was beautifully presented. The perfect seaside cottage, short walk from the beach. Stylish interior. Immaculate throughout and everything looked new. Very grateful for the thoughtful welcome pack, milk in the fridge, and pack of dog treats. Really appreciated the level of care that has gone into the property. Beautifully warm, husband fell in love with the log burner. My parents had rented a cottage nearby and weren’t so lucky so came to us for supper one evening.

The location first of all, is very ideal. On the beachfront and very near to where I needed to be. I was also upgraded last minute to an en-suite due to a cancellation from someone else. This also came with a second bedroom with a single bed (ideal for if your with your child, I don’t have a child haha but if you do this is ideal). The woman on the phone was also very nice and the man who let me in was relatively welcoming as well.

The location is great, it’s right on the beach and close to the shops in town. You can walk right out of the hotel across the road to the beach. There’s a nice restaurants opposite called the Thatch and a co op around the corner. The beach is clean, sandy and it was really hot while we were there. Also the festival was on so there was a really good atmosphere and lots of stuff to do for kids.
