The View Hotel Folkestone, a member of Radisson Individuals, hotel in Folkestone

Only 5 minutes’ walk from Folkestone town centre, View Hotel Folkestone is a 4-star boutique hotel that features The Cliffe Restaurant & Bar and sea views.

We stayed here on a Sunday to catch Le Shuttle the following day. The room was excellent (superior double room 104) overlooking the park at the rear of the hotel. Extra large bed and very spacious room. We managed to park right outside the hotel despite it being very busy with the nearby music event in the bandstand. The extra £5 for parking was valid for 24 hours if you need it for that long. Breakfast was very good buffet style with a great assortment to suit all tastes and diets. Staff all very friendly. Would stay again.

The location was excellent right on the beach and next to several nice bars and restaurants and the pier. It was also in the cleaner better camp area of town. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were not there enough to try the facilities but our room was comfortable, and had a lovely view.

Premier rooms are located on the higher floors (8th and above) with balcony, so great views over the harbour/beach/town etc. Looks nice at night with the lights of the Harbour Arm and surrounding town. As to be expected with a seaside town, lots of seagulls, so bring kippers or better still don't encourage them! Plenty to do and see whether shopping or strolling. Premier rooms have fridge so can keep drinks & milk cool. Plus large screen TV. Nicely refurbished bath/shower suite. Hairdryer, ironing board.iron etc.

It was right by the docks so a great view of the boats & seafront. It’s also very close to the town centre & the main beachfront. Lovely room with a great view over the harbour & very peaceful at night. The owner was so lovely & the staff in the pub very welcoming. Nice little pub too.

Location was perfect, with a harbourside view of the day to day workings of a seaside village (as it probably was years back). Good welcoming host, no fuss, come and go as you please (own rear access entrance door). Bottled water and coissant most welcome, along with the usual tea & coffee etc. Good access to all amentities, shops, pubs (obvs!), harbour and beachfront. Room semmed to be newly refurbished, tidy shower, lovely crisp bedding.

Perfect location, right on the beachfront. Close to shops and restaurants. Friendly host to welcome us to a clean and bright apartment. Only stayed one night, but would definitely come again. Folkestone has an unassuming charm.

Perfect location right on the beach, with wonderful sea views from the back of the house and the garden. Very comfortable inside with quality furniture and fittings. Master four-poster bed was particularly comfortable. Two TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The house was ideal for a 2 night stay in Sandgate/Folkestone/Hythe.

This hotel has lots of charm. It is kind of old fashioned but that is what gives it charm - so much nicer than these soulless new hotels. We loved staying here. Right on the beachfront - could hear the waves crashing from outside our room. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
