Gyves House, hotel in Eastbourne

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Gyves House is an AA 4-star gold rated Victorian house situated just 30 yards from the Eastbourne seafront.

The hosts at Gyves House are exceptionally welcoming and were very sensitive to my wife's nut allergy. There are very thoughtful touches in the rooms such as camomile tea, chocolate brownies and biscuits - all of which are home made and nicely presented. Breakfast options and quality are out of this world! Once again, lots of home made items. The property is a few steps from the main road along the beach front, so very well located. WiFi was also good.

The Grand Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

This magnificent 5-star hotel faces the beach from King Edward's Parade. It offers luxurious accommodation, 2 award-winning restaurants, and both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and is like going back in time. I loved reading up on the history of the hotel and those who have stayed there. It just has a feel to it that you cant get in your usual hotel. The pools are lovely and clean and the dining experience was perfect.

Characterful old hotel right on the beach. We went for a swim before breakfast, and we could hear the sea from our beachfront room. Very clean room and quiet at night. The whole hotel has just been renovated. The staff were super-friendly and cheerful and welcomed us at 11.30 pm and opened the bar so we could have a nightcap.

Gorgeous seafront hotel. We had room overlooking the beach. Hearing the waves crashing was great. I liked the faded charm of the place. Typical seaside hotel. Probably very popular in victorian times. Good facilities, nice breakfast . Friendly staff and welcoming to our dog too. Nice bar and evening entertainment. Nice to see lots of elderly people enjoying a holiday there.
