Characterful old hotel right on the beach. We went for a swim before breakfast, and we could hear the sea from our beachfront room. Very clean room and quiet at night. The whole hotel has just been renovated. The staff were super-friendly and cheerful and welcomed us at 11.30 pm and opened the bar so we could have a nightcap.

Gorgeous seafront hotel. We had room overlooking the beach. Hearing the waves crashing was great. I liked the faded charm of the place. Typical seaside hotel. Probably very popular in victorian times. Good facilities, nice breakfast . Friendly staff and welcoming to our dog too. Nice bar and evening entertainment. Nice to see lots of elderly people enjoying a holiday there.

Location, it's right on the beach. Of course you have to be lucky enough to get a beach view room, which we weren't.
