The owner was so accommodating and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Accommodation was very spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you would want for a short stay. The weather wasn’t great for us but the location was spot on so we could get out and about.

We booked The Victoria Hotel for a small weekend treat. The location was a bit outside of the centre of the town, therefore, the access to nature was good instead, which we aimed for. We stretched our adventure to the seaside, Whitstable, and it was really convenient to get to from the bus stop nearby the hotel. In terms of the room we stayed, we were 2 of us and booked a twin room. Our room actually had 1 king bed and 1 extra small bed but that was okay as it was informed before booking. The beds were comfortable btw.

We always prefer a rural location away from the hustle and bustle so this was perfect. Great for cycling on the crab and winkle trail, walking and yet close enough to explore Canterbury and other local seaside towns.

We really loved the lodges, perfect to have two next to each other so the kids could bounce between the two... The lodges were well equipped clean tidy and even have washing machines for the post muddy walk washes. We really could have stayed longer. Beautiful location in the woodlands, but equally close to Canterbury or seaside destinations for day trips out

A nice welcome pack on arrival and the property is immaculate and beautifully presented . A great location for visiting the local area including Kent's seaside towns and Canterbury and close to the ports if required . On site parking was great and the host Karen met us on arrival and was extremely friendly and helpful ensuring our visit went smoothly . The previous reviews of 10 out of 10 were spot on .

The location was quite central to our plans to visit historic sights in Cantebury, Deal and Rochester, plus examine seaside areas such as Whitstable and Margate. Well equipped inside. Some essential food items in a welcome basket we did not expect but were appreciated.

Lovely friendly hosts Heidi & Paul have a fantastic B&B just 15 mins walk from Canterbury centre. We loved the exceptional cooked breakfast options, the easy self-serve refills for our room (teas, coffees, biscuits etc, including fresh filtered water - it's nice to be treated as an adult, rather than these sorts of items being rationed out, as in other establishments) and being so close to the city centre, bus routes and train station. It made an ideal base for our first foray into Kent and the surrounding seaside towns.

We loved the warm and cosy cottage. Everything was there. The kids and us had the perfect holiday. Even the dog had a blast in the Orchard. Great location for visiting London by train, Whitstable, Canterbury, the seaside, Leeds castle with the Christmas lights. Sarah was such a sweet host. Thank you for having us. Tip: bring wellies for visiting the Orchard. It's so pretty!

A compact cabin with all I required for a week long peaceful retreat. Although the weather was too hot to en joy the many local walks, the seaside to wns of Margate, Broadstairs and Whit stable provided respite with breezy wal ks along the Viking Trail, and only 20 mini ins by car. if it had been cooler, I would have taken the bus. Enjoyed the fun and joyful atmosphere at Margate Pride Festival, some free Shakespeare in Cant erbury, and a visit to Brogdale Collection
