Shenandoah House, hotel in Broadstairs

Boasting a garden and views of sea, Shenandoah House is a recently renovated guest house set in Margate, 800 metres from The Bay Beach.

The location of the B&B was great - a fair walk into town but this meant it was quiet and felt very 'homely'. The room was pristine, spotlessly clean and tidy and I felt may have been recently refurbished. There is an honesty bar with some drink options which is convenient

We had room1 again which had been converted to an ensuite. Staff/owners great and breakfast - excellent. Location and proximity to beech (5 mins) and town centre (15 mins) is excellent - no issue parking on street either as in a residential area.

The Tea House was lovely, clean, spacious, well equipped and in a good residential location, only a few hundred yards from the beach. We loved Broadstairs, a pretty seaside town that is not spoilt although probably packed in summer. We would visit the Tea House again and would recommend.

The complimentary snacks and drinks was a very unexpected delight. The accommodation was so much better in person, the photos did not do it justice. All the mod cons you could need for a break that is practically right on the beach, no more than a 5 minute walk.

Broadstairs is like a well kept secret. It is SO unspoilt with a proper bucket and spade feel. Traditional seaside shops and a great bar restaurant on the beach. We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine so the grandkids could run in and out of the sea all day long. The house was lovely, clean, nicely presented and a very short walk to the beach. A fabulous holiday.
