The location, the property itself and the comfort and ambience. All fantastic and got the seal of approval from my 8 year old son also, he didn't want to leave!

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
We had a room with a view of the ocean. Very relaxing watching sunset and seagulls at dusk from some comfy sofa chairs in a bay window. The room was not cramped and the bed was very comfortable (not too soft). Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants. You pre-order breakfast the night before so it's not a buffet but there is fruit salad, yogurt and cereal to help yourself to while waiting. All very friendly and helpful. The breakfast croissants were amazing and we can recommend the pancakes with berry compote.
The location was excellent right on the beach and a 10 minute walk to the town. The hot tub was also a great feature and bbq. Parking was free on the grass verve.
The Royal is situated so conveniently to Barmouth beach and seaside town. The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you need in the room, even lovely hot chocolate sachets! The bathroom is clean and you have a lovely hot shower. You have a lovely choice of breakfast in the morning which was very nice. The staff are very friendly and i will definitely be staying again.
We only came for one thing. Hotel right on the beach and dog-friendly. The room was clean (we had a room with a sea view). What surprised me was a TV with Internet and the ability to watch previously purchased Netflix, Amazon Prime and many others. The bathroom has containers with soap and shower zel. The hotel has an elevator
Perfect location, right on the beach front and close to the town centre. Room was great - large, well furnished and breakfast was best start to the day. Owners really helpful, gave advice about where to go, what to see
Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice.
The location is right on the beachfront with the local shops only a short walk away.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
