Beautiful comfortable accommodation with fantastic views over the sea on one side, and the countryside on the other. The ambience of the place was a real tonic. Quite well equipped. Felt really relaxed there.

The staff were so rude and unhelpful. The owner Gregory was dismissive and shouted at me when I complained about a meal we ordered in his restaurant across from the main hotel. We ordered fish and chips. Our food arrived within less than 5 minutes, my wife cut into her fish and said '' it's raw don't eat it'' I cut my fish and it was raw as well. The chips were burnt and limp. We called the waiter and told him the fish was raw. He offered us a fresh meal which we refused and we left the restaurant. We want to the hotel and informed a staff member what happened. We asked if they had a table available and we were given a table in the restaurant. We ordered Panko prawns starter and Lobster main course. The Panko prawns were burnt. The Lobster came with chips, again limp and burnt. We should have complained but we didn't. The following day I went to reception and spoke with Gregory. What a disaster. He shouted at me, told me I didn't have an appointment with him, I tried to have a conversation with him regarding our experience "you don't have an appointment I'm in full service. He told me I was ignorant and didn't know anything about French food. I left the hotel. I went back later in the afternoon to speak with Gregory again . I asked to speak to him a member of staff told me he was of for the week, again a very abrupt and rude member of staff. When I went to book out I was handed an invoice which included 3 days breakfasts, we didn't have breakfast on any day that we stayed

Beautiful villa close to the beach. Nice bedroom with comfy bed and the window, when closed, didn't allow sunlight in the morning. We had see view which was pretty far but nice.
The host madame was very kind and available.
Good buffet breakfast, delicious homemade cakes. Private safe parking with gate.
Facing the sea and the famous museum of the Allies Normandy landings of 1944, The La Marine Hotel enjoys the best location of the area fitted in a beautiful bay between two steep rocks.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Was a great location to have as a base to go visiting the area, the beach is a stone throw away, the town has a market, and a few bakeries which are amazing.
The location was excellent. The beach view was splendid! Nearby grocery and restaurant. Split floor plan is nice. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms are redone, the large dining table is fabulous. The parking is ample.
The house had all the amenities you needed. Being on the beach was awesome! Great location. Very warm and welcoming home. The front area with all the windows overlooking the beach was spectacular. Loved staying here.
Lovely place, right on a beautiful, sandy and quiet beach with amazing views right across the bay and the Mulberry harbours. Perfect location to explore the landing beaches and the various museums and memorials as well as Bayeux. Asnelles is a quiet little town with a couple of restaurants and shops, including a great little bakery and patisserie.
Perfect location, you can see the sea from the bedroom window. Lovely modern interior with all the amenities you can wish for. Big private garden with playground equipment for children and plenty of space to park several cars. There's a supermarket around the corner and a tea room with delicious biscuits. The beach is nice too, with a part of one of the Mulberry harbours still visible.
I am a frequent traveler, and I’d book my accommodations via Booking.com 98% of the time. I’ve been to hotels that offered poor service, but I didn’t bother to leave a bad review because they were negligible. However, as for Gold Beach Hotel, it was way beyond unacceptable. In all fairness, they were good when it comes to cleanliness, size of the room, location, and amenities. In fact, they were great. No issues there. So why did I say this was the worst?
