The beach front Bure had amazing views and was comfortable. We added the food package and so glad we did. The food was wonderful and plentiful! We had fish, meat, Fiji and curry dishes throughout our stay for dinner. The steak and lamb were lovely and the butter chicken great. I loved the banana bread and fruit platters at breakfast.

The caretakers were awesome. It was easy to organise everything through the owner. Diving and snorkeling next door. Great kitchen set up. Insane views! Comfortable bed and living space . So peaceful and private.

The tour guide and evening entertainer were very friendly. Close to the beach and dive centre and not too far from the island's two main attractions, i.e. hikes to waterfalls.
Very nice place, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Amazing food. Tours and transfers are organized. Every evening they are doing a kava ceremony which you can join. Good snorkeling spot at the beach nearby (check for high tide)
This places has beautiful gardens, wonderful staff and has a chilled atmosphere. There are trips to nearby attractions that go daily and the staff with guide you. The food is good and every night is Cava night with staff playing guitar and winding for your entertainment. The beach is just over the road.
Well located near airport, beach and main road. Nearby shops, cafe and restaurants. Good safe snorkelling off the nearby beach. Attractive property with lawns and many trees/coconut palms plus a view across the sea towards the sunset. Dining on site was alfresco catering for all meals on a pay as you go basis. Staff were helpful and friendly. Excursion options could be booked onsite.
We enjoyed everything about our stay at Maravu Taveuni Lodge. The staff does everything to make sure you are having a good time, with local guides (Rafa and Karly) arranging and going with you on the beautiful trips all over the island (like the Bouma Waterfalls, Lavena Coastal Walk, the water slide etc). The communication with Maravu was easy and efficient. Will recommend Maravu to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful island of Taveuni.
the staff and everyone around the hostel really are friendly and lovely, there is a friendly, simple, family sort of feel to the place. The top rooms with ocean views at the front of the property are really good value for money for the location. the location is also good as it is across the road from a nice beach cafe and bars to spend days/evenings in.
A beautiful property overlooking the ocean close to the airport, restaurants and the beach. Our room was lovely - very spacious with a large bathroom and balcony, and the main shared area was equally spacious. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and it was a great place to be based on Taveuni. There isn't power between 10am and 4pm but this didn't bother us at all as we were enjoying the outdoors. The wifi was better than many other places we experienced in Fiji.
