Complimentary breakfast was wonderful and all other meals were delicious, well presented and generous. Rooms were spacious with attractive and stylish island decor. Most activities were complimentary and well organised including daily reef snorkelling cruises. All staff were professional and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
We found the traditional Fijian welcome and farewell a very personal and sincere touch.

Everything about this resort from the moment you step off the boat is outstanding. The food, the scenery, temperature of the water, the hiking and the snorkeling, 10/10. What really makes it stand out though is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and are always smiling, ready with a helping hand... and of course saying "BULA"!!!
I cannot recommend this enough. We went with 4 couples for my husbands 60th and we were kept busy, entertained and with very full bellies. Champagne flowing 24/7 too. They looked after everything, and I cannot recommend enough!

Everyone was so friendly. When I initially booked I had to make three different bookings (in different rooms) as there was none available for the full 5 nights we wanted to be there, upon arrival they upgraded us to stay in one room the whole 5 nights which was amazing. The poolside room was perfect for our family, our boys (5 and 7) spent majority of the holiday in the pool. We were all exhausted at the end of each day so didn't get to see many of the evening activities.

The location on a sandy beach is second to none. The rooms are spacious and the newer adults only rooms are pristine. The staff are exceptionally friendly, especially with kids, and the meals we had were very tasty! The private plunge pool was delightful and the sunsets beyond scenic. The coral reef is surprisingly lovely, and swimmable from the shore - which is rare!

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Great 'family holiday' location from mainland and easy to get to by a super-fast South Sea Ferry. Pretty much everything was wonderful including the weather!
The South side does not really have a lot of sun in July or beach to sit on and is a lot breezier but heaps quieter than the North!
The beach should be one of the most beautiful beaches in Fiji. The sea here is always very tranquil, safe to do water sports. The bure is large, very clean and comfortable. Feel like home, a sit in front of the bure with covered terrace and wonderful sea view is so comfortable.
They also offer day room service to client after check out, which is very helpful for guests needs good rest before go to the ferry.
Beach was amazing.
Food was good, especially considering it was on a island. Rooms were nice. Staff are really friendly and our nanny Elizabeth was really helpful.

The resort faces north west so you have front row to the sunsets unlike many other resorts
Amazing buffet different choices everyday and a real hit with the kids and adults alike. Staff are lovely, beach is beautiful, water is crystal clear and warm, our kids had a ball and we are looking forward to coming back !
Amazing location, wonderful staff, fantastic stay. We loved our time at Castaway. It had everything we needed. Though it was school holidays, it didn't feel too busy and the pool was always quiet. The beach was exquisite, and the kids club was a lot of fun. Snorkelling off the beach was a highlight for us.
While one side of the beach was always very windy, the other side was usually calm.
Beautiful location. Gorgeous beach with amazing sunsets each night. Lovely rooms and facilities. Incredible staff. Awesome kids club. The most perfect family holiday!!!
