Vesa & Marja the very friendly owners met us at arrival and since we were early did their utter best to get the cottage ready for us well before normal check in time. The kitchen is small but very well equipped and it’s nice to take a sauna & sit by the fire after a day of skiing or walking or other outdoor adventures.
The beds & bedlinnen are very comfortable but unfortunately no double beds.
Location of the cottages is just perfect next to the supermarket and right by the lake.

A quiet peaceful neighbourhood. Spacious apartment for 2 with kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Inside the were was even a sauna but I never tried it. There were 3 numbers for point of contact for help. Owners were kind to help me find the washing room despite my lack of Finnish and they have forwarded my trainers I left behind in their drying cupboard!

Despite of the fact that the guests are responsible for cleaning, unless they pay a fee of 70 to 90€ for a cleaning service, the place was reasonably clean. Parking is free and right next to the building.

Beautiful peaceful location. Distant from city life, but in fair proximity to all that may be needed. Ver well planned, spacious inside. Comfortable wide double bed. Functional kitchen with running water. Fireplace and sauna work just fine. New-built modern cabin that smells fresh wood, in the middle of nowhere :)

Perfect location just near the main village area and an absolutely fantastic, helpful and friendly host. I’ll definitely stay here again if/when I come for another visit to this area.

Perfect location, close to center of Äkäslompolo with supermarket, restaurants and safari companies. Very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed sauna and chimney fire. Any question was answered immediately without delay.

We liked the very dedicated staff, their care for the customer. The room was comfortable and the balcony was a perfect location for our little meal. The position is exceptional, they even rent bikes. Sauna was nice and very clean! Lot of services!
