This was our last stop on a 5 week road trip and was a last minute decision partly because the weather was forecast to be wet in the Alps. A very good decision it turned out to be. It rated highly on booking.com and we were not disappointed. Beautiful, historic building. Meticulous attention to detail in retaining and enhancing the historic but cleverly adding the element of luxury. A delightful location on the lake and close to a good selection of restaurants. We absolutely loved it. Outstanding family hosts and staff. The breakfast was worth a special comment. It was undoubtedly the best we have experienced in all our past European travels, and many have been wonderful. You have to try it for yourself! Thanks so much for the perfect ending to a brilliant trip!

Kitchen was very well stocked with lots of lovely touches (coffee beans already stocked in the coffee machine). The situation is delightful, so near the lake, very quiet, plenty of room with additional conservatory and seating outside. We will certainly be back
