The owners are very nice people & they have a good energy.
The property is in a nice location, very close to the beach, quiet, safe and has a great garden with many plants which attract hummingbirds.
The breakfast is varied and delicious, we aet only one dinner (minimum 3 persons should order) here and it was very delicious and at a fair price.

This places was a dream for us. We were a family of 5 and Lorena and Janeth (the owners) are super customer focus and kindly let us stayed in 2 of the big rooms available as one of us was really sick and required a private bathroom for himself. They are EXTREMELY accommodating and the location of the place couldn’t be better. It’s hard to find a place with both beach access and close enough to the main town but far enough for you not to have the music of the parties going on at 3am. Lorena made us feel so welcomed and was consistently making sure we were fine and that our stay was a pleasant one.
There was a kitchen behind the rooms that we could use, there is free filtered watered for all guests and they even provide a beach umbrella and beach chairs for you to chill at the beach which is just in front of the hotel.
The ladies made sure each day the rooms were cleaned and they maintain the premises as clean as possible.
We loved our trip to el Valle, but what made the experience unforgettable was hitting the jackpot with this accommodation .. WE LOVED IT

I really loved that they organized a Tuk tuk from the airport and I got a message form the driver the day before. The location was very close to the beach, where you can go sunbathing and swimming during the day and surfing or watch surfing in the evening, when the tide comes in. The lounge area on the top floor was a lovely way to spend the evening - reading, surrounded by nature.
The hostel organizes tours and homemade meal service that you order a bit in advance, so there is no need to go elsewhere if you do not want to. The staff was friendly and helpful, and let me practice my Spanish. :) The bar is a gathering spot in the evenings, to have a drink and chat with locals, which was really fun. On the evening when I did not go there it was not loud at all, to be in the room and go to sleep.
The water in the kitchen is potable.

Coco Loco Lodge offers comfortable and private Chalettes. We even had a lovely hammock. Milena and Andre were incredibly helpful during our stay, they helped us to organize tours and always made sure that everything was perfect. The breakfast was well balanced, it included protein, fruit and beverages in generous portions. The Lodge is close to one of the most popular beaches and it is just in front of the sea. The place is well-maintained and the owners will make sure you will have a pleasant experience. Don't miss it!

A lovely place on the beach! Great spot. Little walk to town, but more then worth it. The people are really kind and the cabins are great! Only thing: there are no surfboards like on the pictures ;)
I stayed at Mailers Hostal for 2 weeks. It’s in a great location. Perfectly positioned halfway between the beach (where you can surf) and the town (where the supermarkets and restaurants are). There is a kitchen that you can cook in, meaning you save money on eating out.
Mailer organises tours and is really knowledge about the area so you can ask him for all the local tips to enjoy el valle to its fullest!
The hostel is a lot better value than the hostels on the beach and he really makes you feel welcome and like his house is your house!
Amazing hotel in a perfect location on the beach in el Valle. Monica was super attentive to us from before we arrived, helping us organize tours and activities and providing suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the social areas/deck for relaxing in the afternoons. Good breakfast considering the lack of options for ingredients in El Valle. We really enjoyed our stay at El Morro!
The location is absolutely great: at the beginning of the beach, the place has seaview and is surrounded with a paradise like garden. From the room you can hear the ocean and all the sounds of the animals in the jungle. The village is on a walking distance. The hosts were super kind, welcoming and eager to help with information and tours. When our turtle tour got cancelled, they took us on the beach where we found a turtle laying her eggs. The hosts cooked a very good vegetarian meal for us. Would highly recommend this place!
The location is amazing, right on the beach and away from the city. We got to see a whale jumping from the hotel and also a turtle giving birth(!). The liberation of the baby turtles is also next to the hotel.
The staff is also super attentive and friendly. We loved our stay!
