There’s nothing like waking up to the sound of crashing waves and the sea air floating into your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodations come in a variety of forms, from all-inclusive resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea, and outdoor pools with attached bars.
If going to Tobermory and thereabouts, I would suggest staying in Sauble Beach or perhaps even Wiarton and save yourselves the driving. Really nothing to do in Owen Sound so no need to situate yourselves there
We love the location especially for us with a dog and family. The restaurant onsite was very good and the staff welcoming. There is a local bar called Mud Station close by and it was a great place for day trips to local beaches.
Friendly staff, there is all necessary in the room. Good breakfast, quiet place, convenient movement inside the building, plenty of free parking lots. 30 minutes of drive to Sauble beach
The property is in a very good location and is accessible to shops, beaches, and other tourist areas around Bruce Peninsula. There were amenities and supplies good for a short stay. We had a good sleep despite the linens not looking and not smelling newly washed.
Location of the hotel is superb. The waterfront trail is right in front of the hotel, a perfect place to enjoy the sunset and have a leisure walk after dinner. Will come back to this hotel on our next visit.
Easy access, new installations, very comfortable room.TV, fridge and coffee maker inside the room and a BBQ just outside with picnic tables if you want to spend the time outside. The hotel is only 25min from Sauble Beach and about 1h from Tobermory.
The location is good as there are a lot of shops nearby and only an hour and a half drive to Tobermory. There are a lot of places to visit around Owen sound like Sauble beach and Inglis falls. We stayed in a 3 family rooms with terrace where we had the chance to use the barbeque facilities and used the dinner tables outside the room. Each room has a microwave, fridge and a coffee maker so it was nice. It is definitely a good place to stay specially for family.
This hotel is in a great location and in the best spot to watch the sunset. The restaurant is good.
