Right in front of the beach. Owner lives on site and is a super cool guy. Everyone and everything there is friendly and chill. I ended up staying there 3 different times on my most recent trip to Brazil visiting friends in Canavieras. Highly recommended!

Sidney is an exceptional host. My family and I had a great time at his pousada. The beach, which is just a few steps from the property was one of the most beautiful beaches we have been in Bahia.
Canavieiras is a real secret in Bahia and Pousada Marlin Azul the perfect option to stay! Nice, welcoming owners, nice garden with pool, great breakfast. Only 2 blocks from the 20 km long, almost unspoiled beach. And you can continue to Porto Seguro by boat to Belmonte, a very scenic river ride through the jungle. Highly recommended if you wanna stay off the beaten track in a beautiful place!
Did you ever come to a hotel and felt immediately home? I never had this in many years of global travel. But that changed when entering Bambusada. Why? I would say it made the combination of the super cool and friendly owners Mara & Koni and a place that seems to have been built with a lot of heart and soul. The dream location right at a lonely beach and Koni’s chef qualities gave it the rest. We can’t wait to come back and without any doubt will. Thank you Mara & Koni ❤️
