The property was very welcoming and safe with digital security locks which is exactly what is needed for a girls trip.
The view was incredible and a very short walk from local cafes and restaurants.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Absolutely loved our stay - beautiful views of the ocean, cosy rooms and the most incredible garden. Our dog loved exploring the full fenced yards. Loved unwinding with a bath and a book by the electric fireplace. Great deck with loads of sun and deck chairs. Beach is just a short drive away, as well as a local reserve and Red Hill’s plentiful cafes, produce stores and cellar doors.
Staff are very good. It was close to where we needed to be for the time we were there. Good to be able to cross the road and walk on the beach. The Laneway coffee shop next door is excellent.
Great seafront location, classic old hotel with rooms upstairs and pub/bistro below. Comfortable bed, huge room with sofabed. Check-in at bar area, parking out the back. If walking upstairs with luggage is an issue, maybe check if there are any downstairs rooms. Heaps of other restaurant options within walking distance and right opposite the beach.
Our room was incredibly spacious, clean and cosy. We had a beach view room which was lovely. We didn’t use the room to its fullest potential as we had a wedding but the bathroom, in particular the shower, was very spacious.
Great location for beach access. It is an older hotel and has a lot of character and nice views to Port Phillip Bay. Bistro in the hotel was pretty good and drinks were reasonable in price with a good selection of Victorian wines.
It was stunning! The house decorated beautifully with beach vibe and all interiors were very nice. It’s actually much nicer than the photos on the listing so it was a great surprise!
Beds are so comfortable. Master bedroom has a stunning ocean view which was so beautiful. Location is great so close to Arthur’s Eagle and beach in Dromana.
