Best sea viewing spot in front of my door under a mango tree, a piece of paradise, rugged yet beautiful. Spacious room with big bathroom. Has everything you need. A bit like staying in my grandma’s when I was young: you can hear ppl walking upstairs while lying in bed, and plenty of birds like motmots early morning in the courtyard. Room has sliding glass doors, with curtains for sun blocking and privacy. Private cove reachable via a proper hike, staircase to start with but majority is along riverbeds and through bushes, rocks and tree trunks…be prepared, I had to wash my shoes after that 😂 also remember your way down, no signposts or anything like that, and getting lost in the bush when there is no mobile signal can be scary… Castara beach via paved road downhill and staircase, some may find it steep. Sunsets are amazing, boats, music, guys playing football in the twilight…very atmospheric. Good food options close by in the village. The ones recommended by hotel 👍🏻 About 1.5h drive from airport. Worth the trip if you ask me.

Located in Black Rock, a few steps from Plymouth Beach and 2.7 km from Mount Irvine Bay Beach, Birdie's Nest offers a private beach area and air conditioning. Prince was the perfect host and went out of his way to ensure that we made the most of our stay in Tobago. He helped with recommendations of what to see around the island, where to eat, car hire and helping sort out our transfers. The apartment was really clean and comfortable. The location is great overlooking the sea with some of the island's best restaurants in walking distance (Seahorse Inn and Fish Pot). We loved swimming in the pool while looking out over the ocean. It was great to stay within the community in a friendly family-owned guesthouse rather than a big anonymous hotel. I really hope to come back to Tobago and stay here again.

A really quiet and relaxing place in the middle of vibrant nature. The owner, Wayne, is a perfect host, who knows everything about the island and is happy to share his knowledge.

Shalom apartments provided us with a home from home. The accomodation was clean and spacious. The pool and garden were very private, humming birds visit the garden. Access to the highway is a short drive away and the main town within walking distance. Ronique our host was outstanding and helped us hire a car. She made our two week holiday a very special time. Shalom apartments are ideal for both couples and families. Tobago is a bird watchers paradise and I would thoroughly recommend Shalom Apartments as a base to explore the island. Above all, the apartment is in a very quiet residential area unlike much of the holiday accomodation on offer on the island. Thank you Ronique, you are a fabulous host.

Offering a terrace and lake view, Alibaba‘s Seabreeze is located in Castara, a few steps from Little Bay Beach and 300 metres from Castara Beach. The place was really nice and comfortable and right on the beach which I loved. Staff were really nice and friendly.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, CC Best Villas Tobago is located in Lowlands. The property features quiet street views. CC Best Villas had us in awe. We were to stay elsewhere and after seeing CC Best Villa, we canceled our first accomodation option mainly because CC Best Villa (studio layout) was more private (you are the only guests) and we had the option to cook as needed. For our 3 night stay we were the only ones that accessed the villa and I appreciated this privacy as the layout is easy to keep clean. This villa experience has been well thought out. Fully stocked kitchen capable of cooking many meal options. This spacious villa fits everything needed seamlessly. Secured parking. Well secured accommodation. Our hosts C&C gifted us spinach, chives and mangoes. They were very respectful of our privacy and such a joy every interaction. The garden is beautiful. The option to lounge outside or relax indoors in ac was appreciated. The bed is comfortable. C&C even shared their iron and blender with us. Our hosts really went above and beyond. Unmatched vacation accommodation together with their hospitality this studio villa could easily be double the price per night.
