SNP- PALMS, a property with a garden, is set in Papetoai, 1.1 km from Papetoai Beach, 1.9 km from Tiahura Beach, as well as 21 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course. Nathalie was simply fantastic. She was very accommodating and prompt to communicate, she called and organised our transfer from and to the airport with Loulou (about XPF 5k - turn left at the "Holy Steak House" to find it from the main road). She drove us to rent a scooter and buy some water. As she owns and runs the Hibiscus hotel down the road with her family (hence the acronym SNP, which stands for the initials of her family members - up to her to tell you which ones ;), she obviously had the experience to set up the bungalow in the best way possible, nothing is missing! There are plenty of silent fans, aircon, kitchen fully equipped (including a fan forced oven), soap for the bathroom (apparently not always common in other private accommodations), very good washing machine, very safe place with an automatic gate, plenty of space to park under a covered space, lovely setting with water views, etc. It is clear that we will go back to this place!

A beautiful oasis with the most stunning view. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the accommodation, so relaxing and thoughtful decorated. The breakfast (what is offered for a small extra fee) is perfect, a good way to start the day. All in all...100% to recommend, stay at Sarah's beautiful B&B and enjoy your time on Moorea. She has plenty of recommendations what to do and where to go. We will be back one day!

Set within 2 km of Temae Beach and 4.6 km of Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course in Teavaro, Haere Mai I Te Fare offers accommodation with seating area. Lucie and Philippe are definitely super hosts. They welcomed us at the minute we arrived. We scheduled and booked together all our excursions with their best tips. They are always there and present to make my stay the best. Breakfast is delicious. The garden and the patio are like the paradise… I recommend this pension at 200% and hope that I will visit again Moorea with you Thank you for all Lucie and Philippe !!! You have the heart on hand.

Alex's lagoon tour is very recommended!

Located right on the beach, Linareva Moorea Beach Resort is a small hotel in typical French Polynesian style. Guests have free Wi-Fi access and can borrow canoes, bicycles and snorkelling equipment. Loved the friendly staff Rumi was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable

Everything was very clean and modern. It is located in quiet area. Owners of the property are there for you and they are very friendly and help you with everything. You can rent a kayak or canoe for little amount and visit the lagoon.

Located in Moorea, 1.8 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course and 11 km from Moorea Lagoonarium, Bungalow KURA offers a private beach area and air conditioning. The bungalow and the surrounding garden are amazing, very well maintained and comfortable. The place is fully equipped with everything need - kitchen basics, towels, toiletries, snorkelling masks etc. Very kind and responsive host. We had a great stay and would come back for sure if visiting Moorea again. Highly recommend.

Situated in Hauru, Fare Mihiau provides accommodation with a plunge pool and garden views. This is a great alternative in Moorea to the 'too-expensive' resorts. I loved this little efficiency apartment. It is inside a small gated property with the main (separate) house -- your car is safely inside the gate. The apartment is very tidy and clean. It is super quiet. I personally found the bed just fine. The kitchen has everything you'd need. (Perhaps a small paring knife for fruit could be added.) I bought fresh fruits from local roadside stands and used the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. Made the entire stay more convenient. There is a small grocery/everyday shop a 5-minte walk away. They have lots of prepared foods for snacks or whatever. Go early because they sell out of prepared foods by noon. The host has a kayak for you to use. You can launch the kayak immediately outside the property -- there's an inlet from the lagoon, so it's very convenient.. One tip for Moorea: rent a scooter or car. This apartment is close to everything, but I'm glad I had a rental car. There are scuba & whale snorkeling places, restaurants, and other shops nearby. But, I saw a lot of tourists walking in the hot afternoon sun. Island buses are not frequent. Oh, one last thing. My Fare Mihiau apartment was only accessible from an outdoor stairway. It was no problem for me. It's sturdy and nice. But, keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns.
