Host was super nice, there's free (and good!) coffee and ice, some tea as well as sugar etc. in the kitchen. It's clear the owner is all about guest satisfaction.

Veronique is a very very nice Host and did EVERYTHING to make sure our trip was worth it! This included receiving our lost luggage from the airline before we arrived in the accomodation. The Family Room we rented was very big, very clean and very nice. The kitchen was fully equiped, even with a dishwasher! The Hosts sell food and drinks if you need something (cheese, etc). Veronique even left us a nice note in our language (german) on the door. We loved this accomodation.

Set in Vík and only 1 km from Reynisfjara Beach, Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Our host Ragga was so amazing, the house is a lovely little farmhouse with multiple guestrooms. The rooms were all clean and the house was very comfortable. The location is a short walk down to the Black Sand beaches and close to town. Ragga also took us to see the lambs and sheep on the farm and they were so cute! Overall it was an incredible stay and I would highly recommend it!

Located just 800 metres from Black Sand Beach, Guesthouse Galleri Vík provides accommodation in Vík with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Fantastic kitchen - well equipped, large, modern appliances. Hostess provided waffle batter and homemade jam and cheese which was all delicious. She also recommended spots to see the northern lights (no luck this time). We had a shared bathroom but was clean and we didn't have any problems with accessing when needed. Room was nice with a comfy bed. Easy check-in.

Certain units include a seating area for your convenience. heba was very helpful with tips about Iceland and made a delicious breakfast. the house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Located in Stokkseyri village, this guest house offers a terrace with a hot tub, a guest lounge and a kitchen. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Eyrarbakki village is 6 km away. Jóhanna & Stefán are great hosts. They are very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. The apartment was big enough for our family and offered full comfort. Also, the kitchen was equipped with everything you might need and more. There is a big balcony with a great view of sunrise, sunset, and northern lights (see pictures). Beds are very comfortable, Wi-Fi was good as well, and you have access to the hot tub, laundry, and BBQ. We loved this location because it is about an hour or less away from many main attractions on the south coast. There is a grocery store close by, but we mostly shopped in neighboring Selfoss, in Kronan, which is a large and well-equipped supermarket, about 10-15 minutes away. We would love to come back some day :)
