Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Located in Ólafsvík in the West Iceland region, Grund in Ólafsvík has a garden. The property features sea and mountain views. a bit vintage, a bit nostalgic, but the kitchen and bathroom are brand brand new. Especially all the facilities for cooking in the kitchen, great. Quiet and peaceful, the landlord lives right above I think.

Kirkjufell Guesthouse and Apartments provides rooms in Grundarfjordur. The property features mountain and lake views. We adored our stay! An extended booking here would've been a no-brainer if our Iceland trip allowed. A complimentary upgrade to a spacious apartment with a terrace surprised us, and witnessing the northern lights outside our door was pure magic. The panoramic view of Kirkjufell mountain and the surrounding landscape made our stay unforgettable. Reception staff, efficient and warm during check-in and check-out, left a lasting impression. Regrettably forgetting the name, the woman at check-out shared valuable tips for our Icelandic adventure. We love her! Room amenities exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

Great host! great shared kitchen you could use and has everything you'll need. Loved being at the ground floor, right next to the parking lot. Amazing stay overall, really recommended!

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. Great location! it’s close to Snæfellsjökull National Park. Beautiful views! you are able to see the ocean and mountains! we got lucky to see the northern lights white staying at Kast House. Room is nice and clean!

I would say this is one of the best guesthouses we have ever stayed. Everything was super clean, friendly staff, well equipped kitchen with a nice view, leisure room available, comfortable beds, clean and big bathrooms, parking available. Also, from an architectural point of view, the house itself has a good layout - each room does not have a common wall with neighbour and it is separated by bathrooms.I strongly recommend this guesthouse to be visited by the owners of other guesthouses - it is a lot to learn from a good example.
