Located 1.5 km from Southport Beach, The Bowden Lodge offers 4-star accommodation in Southport and features water sports facilities. Great location on a lovely tree lined road a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great attention to detail and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very good including a vegetarian option which we both appreciated and enjoyed very much, good hot coffee too!

Aberley House, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Liverpool, 500 metres from Crosby Beach, 8 km from Aintree Racecourse, as well as 9.1 km from Anfield Stadium. Aberley house is really interesting place in a beautiful historical location near Cross beach. The house right next used to be owned by the owner of White star line and nearby house the captain of the Titanic. This place breathes history and we felt a real English atmosphere here. Jonathan is a wonderful and caring host. He prepared us a delicious breakfast and explained everything to us patiently. In the evening we had the opportunity to play darts and snooker and Jonathan showed us his collection of vinyls. The house is large and historic so there was a little cooler but that was no problem as the room is equipped with one more portable heater. (And I’m cold everytime and everywhere :)). Thank you for a lovely stay and if we ever return to Liverpool Aberley house will be our definite choice.
