The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.

It is a cosy home, providing us the respite on our NC500 driving hols. The apartment is conveniently located; we had a lovely meal at Peet’s. The host even gave us a warm personal welcome via the ‘hello’ board.

Instructions were clearly guven by host. We felt bad we had to call early AM because we had trouble locking up- our fault.

Amazing house with complete facilities & stunning view. It's a ground floor apartment with parking available right in front of the house. There's a small town with supermarket nearby too within 5mins driving.

Tigh Quiraing- Heather features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Staffin. The property has mountain and garden views. Guests can enjoy quiet street views. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. They made us feel so welcome. It was like we were arriving to the home of long time friends. We had great conversations with them and really look forward to being able to return again someday. The room was well equipped, the bed was comfortable. We had our own private bathroom and our window faced the mighty Quiraing. Also, the breakfast was exceptional. Karen was kind enough to make us pancakes and crumpets, which were delicious!!

Set 1.4 km from Inverness Castle and 1.3 km from Inverness Railway Station in the centre of Inverness, Haste Ye Back offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The B&B is situated within walking distance of the city's main strip of restaurants and bars. Instructions with regards to arrival and check in procedures were very clear and the room we were assigned was so comfortable and cosy. The complimentary breakfast in the room's fridge was a really special touch which we really appreciated.

Set in Thurso, 100 metres from Thurso Beach, Westlea Bed and Breakfast offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. The room was stunningly beautiful. The large window overlooking the sea was magnificent. Our host Michael was very friendly and helpful with recommending placed to eat and things to do in the area. The breakfast was one of the best I had in my entire Scotland trip.

Angus House, 2 Bedroom House, Thurso, NC500 Route, boasting a garden, is located in Thurso, 28 km from Sinclair's Bay and 21 km from The Castle Gardens of Mey. Great location in Thurso! It was a great amount of space for the three of us. We only stayed for one night, but could have definitely stayed for longer. The bedrooms were great and we loved using the electric fireplace for some heat since it was a bit chilly out!

Offering a garden and river view, Alt-an Retreat Lodge overlooking loch linnhe is located in Fort William, 14 km from Loch Linnhe and 30 km from Glenfinnan Station Museum. This was one of of favorite places we stayed while on our 10 day vacation in Scotland! Beautiful view with amazing hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here.
