Lovely coastal house in the western lake district minimum 3 night stay offers accommodations in St Bees, 1.5 miles from Fleswick Bay Beach and 16 miles from Wasdale. Outstanding property. Well equipped, very clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, and well decorated. Good wifi (we were able to stream Amazon Prime video with no problem) St. Bees is a premier destination in the western Lake District, and we're were glad to score this stay. Would love to come back sometime.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Green View Guest House features accommodations with a bar and free Wifi. Very welcoming host - before dinner we enjoyed chatting and learning more about the history of the area - Romans with port settlements, salt (hence Sil), cattle grazing (lath in Cumbrian, hence loth), the RAF base (Hudson aircraft, and the first flight simulator). Dinner and breakfast excellent, and dining room decor charming. Comfortable room with four poster bed.

Luxury lodge with private hot tub is located in Askam in Furness. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a terrace. a small yet fully practical lodge with everything you could need and all fixtures and fittings were of good quality.

Harbourside Apartment is located in Whitehaven, just 18 miles from Wasdale and 18 miles from Muncaster Castle. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Great location lovely views. Apartment was clean warm, quiet and had everything we needed. Instructions for host were clear.

Westcliff offers accommodations in Seascale, a few steps from Seascale Beach and 6.3 miles from Muncaster Castle. This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking. Great view, good location to travel to Lake District, free parking. Also, we received good recommendations what to visit around.

Victoria House offers accommodations in Barrow in Furness, 26 miles from World of Beatrix Potter. Featuring sea and mountain views, this guest house also includes free Wifi. We had such a great stay here! We used it as a base to explore the Lakes from - much less crowded and touristy, and everyone we encountered on Walney Island made us feel so welcome! The hosts at Victoria House were lovely and the room was exactly what we wanted: comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom (with a clawfoot tub to soak in after a big day of walking!). Will absolutely be back!

Kentwood Guest House in Arnside provides adults-only accommodations with a garden, a tennis court, and a shared lounge. A fitness room is available for guests. The service was exceptional as Alexander and David were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was wonderful.
