You can walk to the center - its took 5 min...  the room is Comfortable and Very clean. we are going to be here again .

Set in Hallstatt, near Museum Hallstatt, Haus Trausner is a historic homestay that has a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Maria was the high point of our stay. She is so warm and friendly. She was always helping us with a warm smile and communicated very well. She also pointed out a wonderful trail which has now become the highlight of our European trip. It was because of her and this stay that Hallstatt has become the best place we ever visited. The place is only 5min walking from Hallstatt Lahn bus stand. You can take a buss from obertraun(bus 543). Also to reach here you can take ferry and walk for 15mins. The train arrivals and departures are synced with ferry timings. Bus timings are 30mins away mostly from train timings. But its amazingly synchronized. Dont think just book with Maria.
