I wasn’t even looking at places in Koh Lanta specifically, but that’s where Walden is so that’s where we went. And it truly was just as amazing as I’d dreamed it would be. Walden is a place built and looked after with thought and care, both for its beautiful natural surroundings by the sea and for the people who stay there. Thank you Paul for creating a place that is so true to the philosophy that it’s based on. All in all: clean tiny homes equipped with everything you need; the best host; amazing beach, sea and lounging areas; great locality with massages, bars and restaurants nearby; killer sunset; heaven for animal lovers.

Lovely place very close to Long Beach! The staff are very kind and helpful, and can arrange anything you need in the area. They also made us delicious pad thai when we arrived late in the day! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We loved our stay!

This accommodation aspires to be a pure 10 points for many reasons. The bungalows were built before covid and have everything you need. It is such a natural oasis in the middle of the island. The host is naturally attentive and pleasant. The kitchen is run by his wife and breakfast was excellent and affordable. Many options for lunch, dinner too. Thank you!

The host is wonderful, such kind people. The room itself is very attractive, and modern. The room was clean. Location is good, and they offer motorbike rental. Also had free water and coffee. There are also tours and transport you can book directly which are cheaper than online. Overall we had a good stay!
