The family owned resort is very comfortable and friendly. The breakfast was great and served with a smile. The beach is only 3 minutes ride on a motorbike. There is a small delicatessen available and fuel for the motorbike.

Personally for me the location was perfect, it was like having your own pocket of space on the island and the drives to all of the beaches across the island are beautiful.

Fabulous place to stay, I’ve been coming back now for over 7 years, and have seen the hard work and dedication that Jay the owner has put into the place. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean, Netflix Tv if you do fancy a night in. Lovely peaceful location amongst swaying palms trees. Beaches & restaurants are close by and easily accessible by motorbike, which you can rent on site and are all super safe and new. Highly recommend.

This place is just amazing! I have been travelling for 4 months now and this place is the highlight of my holiday! I love camping so I jumped at the chance of a tent on koh kood island! It's so good.. I had my own shower and toilet block and a fantastic bar on site! The host is the best cook on the island! I have had 6 different meals from the menu and I just can't believe the standard of food for such little money. The host's family is what I will take away with me. They are an amazing family and can't do enough for you. On my second day we had torrential rain. No problem...they moved me into an apartment down the road at no extra cost and let me stay there after the rain had gone! I will be back here soon because I have made very good friends in such a short time. I'm very sad to leave this fantastic place for sure.

Jam and Kiw were very friendly and welcoming. Lungluay homestay is super central to really nice restaurants, a mini-mart, the best beach on the island (in our opinion) and activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. We managed without a bike but they did rent them for cheap, we walked to the waterfall which took about an hour but you can request a taxi.
The “no hot water” was absolutely fine as the water is walked naturally by the hot weather so was never freezing and was perfect was to cool off.
Lastly, the restaurant owned by Jam and Kiw and their family (The Corner) is the best we ate at whilst we stayed here (8 day stay in total).
