I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Kohjum Resort. My expectations were not very high after traveling around Thailand in more touristy areas. This was absolutely perfect! It was like stepping back in time. Quiet beach with no one around. We would see maximum 6 people on the whole stretch of beach at one time. Most were the same people we saw every day. Simple, but well built and maintained room. Super comfy. I had more than one nap on the balcony in the hammock. The 2 story room felt like a tree house. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of the ocean, rustling of the leaves and to watch the monkeys play in the trees all from our balcony. Food was fantastic. Nothing fancy, just well done, home cooked meals. I appreciated that they didn't turn down the flavor to appeal to western palettes, as I found in more developed tourist areas. The beauty of the island is that there is not much to do or places to go which makes it easy to sit back relax and enjoy simple life. This is a very special place, with very kind people, one I can't wait to return to.

This place is amazing! We really like small local islands. This island is exactly like that. Hotel is wonderful )) We rented house 1 and 3. Everything is done with care and love. House has cute carpets, cute pink cups, hotel has delicious food, large garden, 4-5 minutes walk to the sea, nice staff. Thank you kaaa ❤️

The detail in the design of this extraordinary villa was a joy to behold. Extremely spacious. Very clean. Off the beaten track but a bike ride away from restaurants. Lovely place to return to after a day exploring the island. We got breakfast made every morning by Avarin’s mum. Eggs. Fruit. Tea. Coffee. Rice. Always tasty. Always fresh. She and her husband are so kind and sweet. They sorted us out a bike to ride around in for a good price. You can do your washing there for £1. They have two beautiful cats we befriended. We loved our stay. Avarin is really easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, she advised where to go and provided advice on where to rent bikes. The bungalow was very clean, it has a kettle with coffee, sugar and a few bottles of drinking water. The bungalow has a nice terrace to sit and chill out before starting or finishing your day. Our stay was perfect and I would book it again if I were going back to Koh Jum.

We had an amazing time at Happy Home. Room is spacious, bed is so comfy and the bungalow is super clean. I was looking for a quiet area and Happy Home was the best choice, we really enjoyed staying here. You can buy all you need in the little shop at the end of the garden and the lady gave us extra fruit every time she saw us ❤️ hospitality is just outstanding. I will definitely come back here! The delicious meals were a treat for our taste buds, enjoyed against the backdrop of a stunning view. The presence of friendly dogs and cats added an extra touch of joy, especially for children who loved interacting with them. In essence, Rock View Terrace is a haven of warmth, delicious cuisine, and tranquility. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful retreat. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

The Bungalows are well appointed and comfortable. The garden really special. A cool haven. The food that Malee serves in her restaurant is fresh and very tasty. Her cinnamon rolls memorable. I can’t find fault and hope to be back soon

Loved that our bungalow was steps from the beach and the pool. The staff was great, and helped us secure a day trip to Phi Phi Islands, Thai massages (highly recommend!) and the on-site restaurant was fresh and delish! We ate ALL of our meals at Ganesh watching facing the water; why leave when the menu is highly varied and excellent?? We were the only family there (as our visit was in late April/low season) so it felt like a posh experience. Monkeys were visible but didn't bother us our our stuff.
