We were met at the airport and delivered to the house by owner's car. Quick introduction of the house and the town were given immediately, "welcome pack" (fruits, water, juices, crackers, ...) was there, as well as things you may need immediately on a new place: grinded coffee, cooking oil, salt/sugar/species, etc... You fee like at home instantly and don't need to run to a supermarket for anything. The house is newly built, all equipment, beds and furniture are new. Nearest beach was about 200-300 meters away from the house. City center is nearby, but the house is located outside of busy areas. The owners (nice couple who live in a house downstairs) gave us full care during our stay, including a free island tour on their car. They also permitted us to do a late check-out and brought us to Vila Baleira harbor by their car, where we traveled further to Madeira by ferry. I cannot imagine what else Valentina and Juliano could do to make our stay happier!
