Sylvia was an excellent host (ess). She made our stay more pleasant and comfortable. She was really helpful, I needed to do laundry and she even offered to do that, very kind and considerate. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay with her again if we ever go there again.

Rosa and Luis are outstanding hosts. They are providing excellent service to their gests. From an amazing breakfast to very useful sightseeing recommendations. As soon as you pass the gate to this place you feel like in another world. Everything in this historic place is maintained very well, there is a lot of space in the the huge garden and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

This was a lovely property, I wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities. I loved all the finishing touches, this is a really unique country home. The receptionist was lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was especially great, they had homemade cakes, fresh juice, good coffee and vegan options.

Large and comfortable room. The host (or staff) even did our laundry. The location is phenomenal. The price is good. Viana do Castelo was my favorite city in Portugal.
