We stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderfull place with a wonderfull host. On arrival to the town Magna text us to see if we had arrived. After we climbed a hill towards the property we had an issue with Google Maps. Then Magna arrived in her car and explained which steps to take, she then drove us to the accommodation. Great room with amazing views. The sea and the mountains. The accomodation was perfect for us, great comfy bed, fab shower. We didn't use a car so the walk up and down can be quite tough for some. The town has some great sites, cliffs on the main street, two amazing sea pools, lovely beach with incredible views. The town van be very busy with passing through tourism. People driving around the island. We recommend the town for a few days, some decent walks along the old roads .before the tunnels were constructed. Some of the local cafes were excellent and we also ate at property as there was a small fridge we could use. Also a kettle and plates and cutlery. On day of leaving we were going to take the bus to Sao Vicente but Magna said she was heading our way. We recommend this accommodation and will return. Cheers 😁😁

This place is ideal for a large family, plenty of space...2 different socializing areas. It was very clean and every amenity was provided. It was serene and relaxing, with lots of outside place as well. I would definitely recommend.

Adorable cosy little cottage in a superb location! A stones throw away from the natural swimming pools, the supermarket and many restaurants and bars. With lovely outdoor hanging spots, with the terrace having great views of the sea. The house had everything you could need, with even 2 bathrooms, which was very convinient. The host was even so kind as to leave some typical treats for us. Also a huge plus is that it has it's own private parking. You can park outside the property for free if there is space, but this gave us peace of mind knowing we would always have a parking spot of our own, and that the car was safe.

Staying in this place is a unique experience itself. With all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay, the house has a carefully preserved atmosphere of an old village farm. The owners left lots of pieces of old interesting furniture and household things, and even the authentic stove and kitchenware. No problems with hot water and WiFi. Plenty of toiletries. Fully equipped kitchen where there seems to be EVERYTHING for cooking. Immaculately clean linen and towels. The house is surrounded by flowers and a garden with some fruits and vegetables that the owners generously allowed us to enjoy. It was very nice of them to offer a small compliment (local delicacies). Stunning views from the bedroom and the upper terrace, especially at sunrise. The house is wisely designed so it doesn’t need an air conditioner even on the hottest day. It is in the lower part of the town so you won’t have to climb high from the centre. Carla, the host, is a very nice and friendly person. She’s always available for any questions. Easy check-in and self-check-out. It is a wonderful place that adds to the authentic atmosphere of Porto Moniz that no local modern fashionable hotel could compete.
