Loved the breakfast in the morning, large variety of foods and something a little different every morning. The hotel was only a short walk away from most locations in the old town and restaurants. Gabriela from the evening reception was very helpful with recommendations, and finding a corkscrew. Rooms had high ceilings and a lot of natural light, bathrooms were bright and clean.

beautiful grounds. nice and large. great view from the pool area of the ocean and sky. friendly and accessible hosts. i liked keyless access. very easy to get in out without the bother of keys. great parking and location. perfect accessories available in the house which allowed me to make a lovely coffee and breakfast each day. and enjoy it on the grounds with a lovely cat that hangs out there. very clean which is always my top priority. very accommodating hosts provided a cot for us.

We just came home from Açores.. Everything was just perfect. The manager - a woman, whon don't talk english, was so helpfull and so warm person. Despite she can't english, she communicates via google translator and it works very well. :) The house is a living history. You feel as you'd live in a museum. Extraordinary. You won't believe how you can pack all a comfortable hotel room needs (and more) into such a small boat.
Everything is well thought and planned. The location in the harbour is perfect and once you get used to everything being shaky, you will love it. Especially the "terrace".
