De swimming pool is amazing. The room was very spacious. The facilities are just great. This is by far the best apartment we’ve ever rented. Furthermore, the host was amazingly hospitable. He helped us every question we had. He lit fire to our bbq and gave us food and more several times. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

Caterina, the host, makes you feel home. She gives the best advices on where to go, where to eat and which way is the most scenographic one. She speaks 5 languages and she’s super easy. The farm is very relaxing, very interesting to see how it got transformed and both Caterina and her mother, Natividade, are always super kind

Location: Almadena is a very nice small village with no signs of massive tourism. For us, this was perfect! If you have a car, you can reach a huge number of beautiful beaches within 20 minutes (closest is <10). Without a car the location might not be as great since grocery shopping is limited in the town itself. Space: The house is large with no room being too small. We had no problem putting a third bed in the smallest bedroom (which was supplied free of charge). The 4 bathrooms in the house are all big. Utilities: Washing machine, drier, dish washer are all there. We were even supplied with washing up liquid and pods for the washing machine (again free of charge). The kitchen is extremely well equipped (we counted 5 pans and 30+ plates, just as an example). The grill is also in perfect condition. We had no issue of cooking many meals for 9 people! Sheets, towels (for bathrooms and pool) were all provided. All sheets and towels were changed after the first week and the complete house was cleaned (we stayed for 2). Outside: The pool is not big but fun for the children and a good way to cool down for the adults.

Super nice and very accommodating host. The location is very quiet and safe despite a car repair shop around the corner. There is a washing machine(!) and lots of table games. The kitchen has all the basics and some extra like bio vinegar and olive oil. We were very comfortable there.

Everything was perfect ! Awesome breakfast, nice pool, quiet place, really clean and comfortable, friendly staff, 5 minutes drive from Luz and 10 drive frome Lagos, so good location.

We had a lovely time here with our family of five. The kids even enjoyed the cold plunges in the swimming pool. The incredible baked dishes by our ever so friendly host and the farm animals made this the PERFECT family stay for us.

I don’t know where to start but this was definitely the highlight of our trip to Portugal thanks to the hosts of this beautiful home. Breakfast was delicious, the views from the terrace during sunset were espectacular and going for a swim was great after a day of sightseeing. Thank you Jonas and Thomas, you have a really special place and we can’t wait to be back!
