Beautiful place located in a quiet and peaceful spot. We felt like we were on a desert island. Lovely hikes on the island, amazing sunset. Extremely comfortable beds, and super friendly host. Outdoor kitchen, barbeque and fridge inside the cabin. If you are looking for a different experience, and would like to escape the hectic life for a bit, this place is highly recommended. We certainly hope to be back some day.

If you want to get away from all-the-same hotel experiences and get a classic style home feeling this is the place to stay. The location is good when travelling by car, otherwise the beach and town or Risor are a long walk away. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and Norway in general and he enjoys sharing his knowlege. He gave us excellent tips about parking and food in town and also about the drive back to the Oslo airport.
